I took several classes with him and loved him. The first class I took with him was lower level and I was overwhelmed with the information but that's a good thing in retrospect, b/c it keeps you on your toes. Classes are challenging and you'll never ask for extra help and be denied. Upper level classes are nothing less than inspiring
