Comment:

You have to keep up with the reading, there are quizzes EVERY class period. The grading is very straight-forward and as long as you keep up, you will do well. Study guides and class notes online. Creepy tongue thing he does when he talks, watch for it. I would take him again.

Comment:

Easy class, nice guy. If you have a couple hours a week to read the text and attend class then there is no reason why you can't make an A or B. He offers extra credit even if you don't go to class and additional extra credit for those who do go. Final is optional if you have at least a C in the class already; can't get much easier than that.

HARD CLASS!!!! Don't take this class unless you are willing to work! Avg. grade in this class is a 75! (Thats coming from Dr. Eastman himself)Its a good class, you def. learn alot. He's kinda like your grandpa telling you about sex, dirty old man!

Interesting class. Dr. Eastman makes an effort to be funny. Test is over book only, no lecture ?s. He offers extra credit opportunities. My only complaint would be his "reviews". Though they are quite helpful, they are very LONG! But you can make an A if you dedicate significant time to the class. I would take him again.

This class is VERY reading intensive. You have to read the whole book during the course. Do the study guides and you're golden. Don't skip class, he gives extra credit for being there Thursdays (and Fridays I think if you have a MWF) and you take quizzes that add up to a test grade. His lectures are boring, but test questions are out of the book.

I really enjoyed this class! You have to do the study guides if you want to make a good grade and they are ALOT of work, but it's very enjoyably and a lot of fun to listen to lecture. Also, lecture notes are online so no note-taking. Highly recommended!

He's VERY arrogant. The tests are 75 questions & even if you read you are not guaranteed a good grade. You MUST KNOW the material inside out! There is a writing assignment as well. Daily quizzes. Lectures very boring. If you are good at rdg boring books, then you will do well in this class. Either way, you can still squeeze a C if you go to class.

He is so BORING. Quizzes are given almost every class period and you have to read way too much. He only tests you over the material in the book. Each test covers about 4 very long chapters. You are expected to find out due dates on your own by going to his website. This class takes up too much time.

Abnormal Psy- he isn't too bad. Don't expect to have much personal attention. You need to attend classes reguarly. He has daily quizzes over chapters nearly every day, but they're easy. Provides study guides which is nice. Easy class if you do your work.

Definitely not an easy class but I learned more than I have in all my other psych classes combined. Really smart guy and though I might not enjoy his seemingly arrogant teaching style, he really makes you think and learn. The essay on the final (if he still does it) isn't that bad, don't stress.

Not too much to this class, daily quizzes and reading. Tests are challenging if you don't like to study. Interesting guy, interesting class. I recomend taking it. Can't sleep through it, must come to class... requires some time but not much, subject is interesting so its not a drag. Great class

If you're looking to cruise through and make an easy A, this is not the class for you. But don't cry because Dr. Eastman makes you work and earn your grade. Hopefully we're all in college to learn something, no?
