Took this course in the summer with him. The course was retardedly easy, until the final exam. Why? We didn't get to "scheduling and locks", and final exam contained it. Literally destroyed my grade from near A to C+.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM IMO. He has a mumbling boring voice. His assignments and examples are easy, his tests are hard. He is not just very boring. He is the recursive call to the function boring() which overflows the stack! If you want to take CS304, take it with Rachel Pottinger - just read her reviews here.

he's good. he's trying his best to get everybody to understand what he thinks is imporant. he takes suggestions from the students and actually makes changes to improve his lectures. he's also very friendly but his office hours are not enough...only on friday and i can't make it at all.
