The class itself is not the most exciting but Professor DeLuccia made it tolerable. There were 3 individual speeches and 1 group speech. All were very easy. She typically gets straight to the point as to what she expects and grades fairly. If class is canceled, she offers to do a conference class. Never keeps you to the end. Book isn't necessary.

I was honestly dreading having to take this course, but in having Professor Deluccia I was so relieved at how nice and genuine she is. I always heard terrible things from this speech class in general but honestly I would definitely recommend taking her if you want a laid back class but where you also learn a lot and grow as a person.

Has a very monotone voice that can put anyone to sleep. VERY boring. Nice lady and helpful but I wouldn't take again. Never lets class out early. Don't buy the textbook.

Professor Deluccia has been my favorite professor this semester. She always lets class out early, she isn't a harsh grader as long as you put forth effort, she's really understanding and she's easy to feel connected to because she talks about her husband, kids, and dogs a lot. She doesn't like to waste time which comes off as blunt, but she's sweet

SHES THE BEST i love deluccia, shes awesome i had her from 8pm-10:45pm and she lets you out early, she is a sweetheart and seriously so nice and will help you with anything. she teaches very well and you only need to do 4 speeches (not bad at all) and a take home final, shes awesome..take her!

Always smiles when you're giving a speech. Her lectures on the power points are boring though and don't find them useful. Book is really not needed. Everything is covered on blackboard. 3 speeches and 1 group speech. Not bad I suggest you take her!

take her for speech. she is easy and animated and kept me awake during a 8-10pm class. her slides really do help you and she makes you feel really comfortable. she takes attendence but she gives you like two freebees. TAKE HER!!!

Rebecca is one of the sweetest profs here. I was terrified of public speaking but I always saw her in the back smiling =) It made me feel much bettter.. the grading gets a little more difficult as the speeches increase. 4 speeches. 1 takehome final.not baddd. usually out early. enjoyable class!

She is definately a sweet teacher. I had this class from 8:15-10:45pm every Tuesday night. We barely spent the whole time in class, only maybe a total of 2-3 times. Take the notes and do the work, and you will get an easy 'A'. :) Her husband is also a great teacher as well. (We had combined classes sometimes, so I had him too sometimes.)

The best professor ever. She is awesome and friendly. Easy-going and understanding. No tests, just speeches. Always available to help you and answer any questions. Highly recommended!!!
