Comment:

Very clear, great sense of humor. One of the most critical and intelligent professors I've had, which will make you sweat when you write papers. However, it's all balanced out by her good-humor and friendliness. She is also one of the most systematic professors, covering her topics in a way that will ensure you understand them.

Comment:

Dr. Kukla's a pleasure to have as a professor. She engages with the class in such a way that it provokes new ways of looking at things and challenges our own views. Definitely knows her stuff! She does assign a lot of interesting reading material, but it's all worth it! She follows her syllabus to the T, & she's very organized. 2 thumbs up for her!

She knows her stuff. She encourages taking on hard passages but if you take the challenge she does not appreciate or reward it. Some of her remarks about parts of the human body were kind of extreme. I do not think she marks fairly.

In 5 years, best teacher i ever had, coulda loved to have her for EVERYTHING, most clear, succinct, concise, parsimonious, enthusiastic pedagogical approach ive ever had the pleasure of engaging, she'd even run herself outta breath @ the board!

She is the only professor at Carleton that I did not like. She made several condescending remarks about first year students (nobody cares what they think)that I did not appreciate. Although she likes her material, I would never take another class of her
