This class could have been better, but this is in regards to my classmates and not Dr. Rizzo herself. She obviously cares about math and I liked that she explained why it is important to understand math. She could be a bit rude sometimes but my class had the most immature FLC in it so I can't blame her for feeling like she was teaching middle schoo

she is a very good teacher but she is also a nut case she snaps at the spur of the moment and just walks out of class who does that?? but the entire class is online so all she really do is help you understand the concept more if your confused but she's good at it

Lets get 1 thing straight: calc is a hard subject. Dr.Rogers is the most awesome calc professor you could have that will teach you in such a way that is helpful, clear, and understandable. I loved her and I miss her so much now that the semester is over. She makes the subject fun and opens up your mind in such a way that gets you to think-TAKE HER!

She is super helpful and very good at explaining concepts to all types of students. She makes every effort to have students get good grades by dropping your lowest test and giving extra credit opportunities. She is very much about understanding the logic behind the math rather than spewing out answers.

Doc Rogers is an amazing teacher. The only thing students don't like is the time it takes her to grade test, but she does it for a reason. She is accurate and fair in here grading. If you have patients and want to really learn she is a very good teacher. She also hints at test items, but you have to do a few problems to get a good grade.

I love Dr. Rogers! She was so hilarious yet helpful. She could always be reached during her office hours and returns emails and calls promptly. Class was easy and if you had questions about anything she answered them. Easy A and I highly recommend her!

She wants you to pass, seriously, if you don't pass you must be dead.I tried to take this class three times before and dropped it because the pro sucked. Rogers is very helpful, nice, and accommodating. She's not a push over so don't abuse her niceness. Her notes are a little vague at times but her study guides are the best!

Definitely study...the stuff can get confusing real fast. She is willing to work with you;not against you. When I took this,all of it was online,including quizzes. Do attend lecture,it helps ALOT! The online stuff is very time consuming. She looks over your online answers to make sure there's no error. She will round up your grade. & she's nice!

One word:AVOID.Her class is a joke. Yeah sure she jokes in class, but her test are ridiculously hard. It surely does not reflect what we learn in lecture. I had to basically teach myself b/c she was vague and impatient. And don't even think about meeting with her at office hours, she's hardly ever there. She's not punctutal either.Obnoxious period.

Great teacher. She explains the concepts very well. She was one of the teachers who WANTED to help us by giving us extra credit (but math department took it away). She's really helpful and will be pretty clear about what will be on the test. Highly recommended!

Her class was very confusing because she didn't teach or give you notes to study off of. All she does is pull up the math lab homework question for you to do in class and then does not explain how to work them out. She has a serious attitude and can be immature and childish. I would not recommend if you don't want to end up teaching yourself
