Comment:

Maybe he was a good professor a decade ago, but he is no longer what he apparently once was. Be prepared to sit silently in lecture as he tries to solve a simple problem. It's torture. Do not take him!

Comment:

Dr. Meyers was at times hard to follow but was sincerely loyal to helping during his office hours. He was a very understanding professor and at the end gave everyone a chance to do unfinished homework. His tests were on the easier side given that you actually do the homework (which you hand in weekly) He was, however, a stickler for neatness!

Very Good Prof. He explains things very Clear his test are Fair. He also makes sure that his test don't take to long(which is nice). He is nearly always in his office if you need help and he is very helpful. I would Highly recommend him as a Prof. or at least for statics

He gives a lot of examples in class and they are easy to follow. Great at answering questions outside of class. Exams are very similar to the homework but they can be a bit lengthy. The homework grader was rediculus, taking off points if your work did not follow the solution manual exactly, even if your answer was correct.

Dr. Meyers is an excellent teacher. He gives a lot of example problems and his notes are very neat and clean, but monochromatic due to his colorblindness. Much better than an average professor.

ABSOLUTE JOKE of a grading scale: 93-85-77. Additionally, tight grading of exams and homeworks (missing FBD on "use this equation" problem -1 ???) Once sent e-mail saying no credit for homework submitted after 8:00 SHARP! but no balls to bring it up in class personally. To be fair, he will try to get to know you in lab so not a complete jerk...

One of the best CEE professors. Yes he is difficult, but you will understand the material at the end of the class. Will drop what he is doing to help you. Professors could learn from him.

Dr Meyers is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. He is a tough teacher, but you will learn the material as long as you put the effort into the class. The exams reflect homework exactly. If you can do the homework, you can do the exams easily. He does assign a lot of homework, but it is not hard.

Taught this 3 credit course like a 5 credit course at times. Lots of work, always busy. Lab reports can be long, especially when compiling group labs. Exams represent homework and lab, but can be written a bit too long. I learned a lot from the course and became a better engineer, but it was tough
