I don't care what everyone has to say, this man is probably the funniest professor I have ever had. I'm sad for everyone who will never experience "Dr. Zonk" in a classroom. Happy retirement and best of luck on the golf course.

Made dull stuff interesting. Fair tests. Helpful assignments and tutorials. Practice off of the previous finals and midterms. Be prepared to work in this course. The material isn't that difficult to understand, there's just a lot of it. Reg does a good job explaining things throwing a little cursing here and there for flavour.

I took this course for the professor after really enjoying CHEM213, and I wasn't disappointed. Even at 8:30, Reg is engaging, energetic, and just a good time. Not overly difficult, but you do need to study and put some time into the project. There is a lot of useful, practical information presented for anyone from any background.

He really knows the material he teaches, and if you ever present him with a question he doesn't know- he'll research it and address it in a later class. His midterms are very fair, but you do have to study for them if you aren't familiar with chemistry. He also presents real life situations which aid understanding, Thanks!

I was shocked to see him use the chalk board for the first time in the last lecture. He should use it more often IMO. All powerpoint in almost any course is bad, and makes the lectures boring. More chalkboard!!

I never saw him in an office hour, but apparently he is very rude and such. Not very professional. His lectures on the other hand are fun. His use of powerpoint is good and the manual is great. His always cracks the class up, whether he means to or not.

Hilarious at times. Gesticulates wildly. Watch out for the flying spit. Course is interesting but challenging (lots to memorise). And yeah...I'm soooo convinced that it was his wife who did all those drugs in the 70s (NOT!).

His classes were entertaining to be in with random swearing and jokes, although his notes are very random and don't make much sense. The tutorial helps a lot in that. We rushed through the lectures to find out that it was because he was finishing early to go to Mexico! hahaha
