Great prof, incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable. She doesn't use slides and doesn't really post on Nexus other than the readings (which are many and are all necessary to fully understand theory), but she is engaging and down to earth. If you're prepared to put in the work, you'll do well.

Great, hilarious, interesting prof. Is great at answering questions, is super slack and easy to approach. As long as you don't bother her with emails and excuses she will let you do whatever you want! She is great, easy a, wondering class!

I really enjoy Dr. Boucher's classes. This class: Violence, Hegemony & Rise of Mass Politics is the best class I've ever taken! A lot of information packed into three months but incredibly interesting. A lot of reading but again, super interesting. As usual tough marker but she can really help if you reach out and ask for it in person, no email!

She is a wonderful lecturer and the material is very interesting and material is intellectually challenging. There was some really interesting questions and discussions. However, she can be very intimidating and may come across as rude to students but if you have tough skin and an interest in the topic she's great.

Boucher is a brilliant professor! Her own fews occasionally work their way into the lecture, but she is really good at providing multiple perspectives on given topics. Be prepared to work hard for papers, but the tests were typically a breeze.

If you want to know political theory, Boucher is who you want to study with. She will make you read original books that will help you understand the past to understand the present. Boucher is brilliant:)Be prepared to read difficult books-difficult but the payoffs are worth it:)

Best Professor at the University of Winnipeg. She uses original sources and will give you an education like the upper elite universities. If your not lazy and willing to push yourself intellectually by reading difficult books-she will give you an education far greater than the majority of the professors at this university.

Excellent Prof! Says what is on everybody's mind and willing to bring in guest lecturers to keep the course interesting. Doesn't put up with any BS and is super willing to help so long as you are willing to go and speak to her. All I can say is favourite prof of first year by far!

awesome. yes she is late and disorganized but her discussions are lively and the reading materials are fascinating. ridiculously smart, her teaching style is relaxed and student-oriented. i took politics of love and sex with her as an undergrad. she doesn't care if you don't show, but you totally should. and she's hilarious.
