His teaching method is simple; attend class, work hard, and ask questions. He will give you the respect you give him. For a simple class, I have learned many tools that will help me for years to come. I was hesitant at first, but Reggie has come to be one of my favorite teachers I have ever had. He is also very very comical so watch out!

NOT A BLOW OFF CLASS! Reggie will tell you that the first day of class. At first he comes off as dry and a bit rude, but he's really one of the funniest teachers I've ever had. If you attend class, he'll help you with anything. He knows what he's talking about. The downside is, he has you buy like $200 worth of supplies. also very time consuming.

Reggie really is a great instructor. There is a lot of work you need to do in this class, so don't take it if you don't like work. Reggie will keep moving even if you're lagging behind. He really does care about his students, though. He just wants you to work as hard as he does. It's possible to get an A if you work for it.

Great teacher...hes hard, and expects you to work. Your going to earn you grade in his classes. He comes off ass a real hard ass, but hes really not if you really get the chance to know you. He doesn't care what you think, especially if you don't take his classes seriously. but I learned ALOT from his classes.

This is the hardest class and most time consuming class I have enrolled into. My son, now 34, took classes from Reggie Coleman 15 years ago and he also thought Reggie's classes were difficult. However, my son now says "Reggie is the best teacher I ever had and the the most influential in my art career. He is the best." Myself, I give Reggie and A-

It takes a while to get used to the guy, but you realize later on that he's just a big softy! Good old Reggie just wants to see us succeed, he's like a father figure. Cool guy. Just follow the rules and do your best.

You can get solid design concepts plus a history lesson every day. He's hard and has high expectations for his students. His syllabus is incomplete, however, so beware. He's a hard instructor but everyone should know that by the end of the first class.

I love Reggie!!! He taught me so much and really pushes me to do better. I think that he is one of the better art teachers that I have had. You have to be open minded and be willing to take advice!

I took Basic Color and Design becuase I thought it would be fun. What I didn't know was that there was an additional fee of almost $120 for supplies. The work load was unreasonable, and unless you are a serious art student and have 12-15 hours a week to work on your project, don't take this class.

reggie is an awesome guy but teaches with a tough love philosophy. he gets a bad rep for telling the truth but you'll learn more from him than anyone else at clc. give him a chance, just be prepared to hear the truth.
