Reimar is obviously brilliant, but unfortunately this only makes his teaching style harder to follow. Its hard to follow along in class & tests were REALLY difficult. He is the pickiest marker EVER but he is also willing review tests with you no matter how long it takes. He is fully committed to helping you, he just doesnt get how you dont get it.

GOD, I spent my life into it and still can't get a pass. And he tend to avoid putting whatever he had explained in MLC on his exams. The midterm was a killer and he knows and so does everybody else. The smartest guy in class got like 60%...avoid

This guy seems like he knows what he's talking about. But its still math, and I can't stand math. For a teacher in such a crap subject (no offense, i just suck at it) he's a pretty good one.

Worst prof ever! Avoid at all costs. Explained simple concepts in most difficult of ways. I am a straight A student and I failed. Ruined my GPA. Spend 8 hours studying and doing practice problems for weekly quizzes and still failed.

Reimar is the worst prof I have had at Cap! He is a hard marker and is unclear. Even if you do the practice problems and study, you will still get a poor grade and kill your GPA. Don't waste your time with his class!

I can understand why he's handwriting the notes for the convenience of drawing nice graphs. He tries to explain the concepts but just doesn't work for me; don't understand him at all. Very helpful in MLC so JUST GO SEE HIM BEFORE THE EXAM!!!

It is refreshing to have a math teacher who actually wants his students to succeed! By printing out the class notes and including old quizzes and tests in the course guide, Reimer really made it easy to do well in his class. He is quite picky when marking quizzes, but overall is an EXCELLENT math teacher!

well, he is pretty picky when it comes to marking(like other math teachers), but don't worry; do the problems in the book and you are gonna be so fine!, well, his notes are pretty good for understanding but for midterms do the questions in the book. your midterm questions will be same as questions in the book(been there done that!)

Mr. Hauschildt is one of the best teachers I've ever had by far. The time and effort he puts into his teaching (all handwritten!)is apparent. I took this course once before and didn't do well because I didn't practice enough, but when I took it again and did my homework, he was able to clearly answer my questions and helped me succeed!amazing guy!

He's very kind and humourous. I really enjoy his class. Although sometimes I can't understand his classnote because of his rough hand writing, I like the classnote because there are cute, funny drawings and his humourous joke. It'll make you smile while you're studying. I will miss his class.
