She's absolutely passionate about her field, and she makes it obvious. I never opened the book and didn't read the novel assigned (or write the paper assigned with it), and I still received an A. Tests are a combination of fact and what she states in class. Extra credit is given often, and it's easy, so I recommend doing it. Very engaging class.

This Professor likes to wear a mask of a really nice helpful person, but in reality shes about as helpful as a wet carrot. I would avoid her class at all costs. She also thinks she already knows everything and that students know nothing.

Dr. Wolynec is awesome! I took the same course last fall with Dr. Barbian and had to Withdrawal because I was failing. However, I took Dr. Wolynec this semester for the same course and got a B+. Definitely take Wolynec over Barbian! Her lectures can get boring at times, but as long as you sorta pay attention every day, you will do just fine!

Absolutely LOVE her! Gives tons of extra credit...a few essays but they're pretty easy. If she likes your essay, she'll give you more points than what it was actually worth. Tests are about 60 questions, multiple choice & T/F. If you go to class and pay attention, you'll do good on the tests. Definitely recommend!!!

I loved having Dr. Wolynec. She is an amazing teacher. She has so much passion for what she does and it really shows. She is a little on the goofy side, but i wouldn't have it any other way. You learn a lot in her classes and they are super easy as long as you read the assigned materials and pay attention in class.

Woly is awesome, fiercely intelligent, helpful, makes class interesting! would take her again. don't try to b.s. her, read your material, study for exams, know your sites, and you should excell! self described 8 headed hydra! pseudo intellects beware, she will not be fooled. She is gracious and kind, harsh when needed, respect her authority!

If you like to research then field studies is good! The fall semester is spent in the field working at an actual excivation. The spring semester is spent in the lab cataloging artifacts. Lots of work but well worth the effort. You will learn something!! 1 paper per semester but generally worth while topics. Highly recomended!

She's a female version of Wilson from Home Improvement -extremely knowledgeable and worldly in ways most people wouldn't even consider, and while her class isn't the easiest, you WILL learn. I recommend experiencing one of her classes because there aren't many professors as passionate as she is about her work.

She is an excellent prof! VERY animated & knowledgable. Kept a 3hr class interesting. Tests are pretty ridiculously long & lots to read, but just read the material at least once & you'll be fine. Even so, she gives SO much extra credit there is no reason not to get an A. Her personality and dedication ensures you learn & enjoy it along the way.

Well, first off, Dr. Wolynec is very different! Her tests are 104 multiple choice questions (A,B,C,D,E). She runs testing like a top-secret military mission. BESIDES the tests, she gives extra credit out the butt... so you can very easily cover up your bad test scores.

Had this class in the fall. Do not take unless you are an Anthropology or History major. She is definitely bias. Lots of unnecessary research. Thinks she already knows everything. Remember teach, learning is an ongoing process!!!!

Don't take her unless you're an anthropology major. She is constantly off on tangents patting herself on the back, and you can never tell what is going to be on the tests which were very difficult. She didn't give many outside assignments and had lots of extra credit. I'm an honors student and I like chalanges but I hated this class so much.

I absolutely loved this class! My only problem was that I took it as a night class, which was three hours long, so it seemed to really drag along. Ms. Wolynec was so interesting. Sometimes she would go off on tangents, but even the tangents were interesting. The papers were pretty simple but the tests were nerve-racking. When it comes to the tests - STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! They can be tricky, but she grades on a curve. She's a great prof and she'll work with you. You can go to her about anything.

decent class, lots of videos and lots of memorization from the book that is virtually untouched in class but is virtually the sole basis for the tests, once you figure that out, you're good. she's pretty entertaining and has nice stories and activities and has tons of experience!

Dr. Wolynec is a very awesome lady. Her tests were all pretty easy up until the final, which I believe I failed miserably but still ended up with an A in the class. She offers a TON of extra credit, and it's easy. Go to class, write the papers, and you'll do well. She will tell you exactly how much extra credit you need for an A after each test.
