I took three of Dr. Baron's classes and loved all of them. Contrary to what some others have posted I never saw any indication of bias towards any group. If you did what you were supposed to do and acted accordingly (as an adult in college) then their was no issue. Lots of reading assignments but I obviously got used to/or liked doing it.

cool prof. can be a little testy somtimes but cool. books were interesting and well taught. grades papers harder than tests, which are open textbook. 3 short papers, midterm and final. if u r lazy and dont like reading dont take this class.

I enjoyed professor Baron's class. It was very challenging, but fun. Pay close attention to the feedback she provides in class and the ideas and views discussed. There were a ton of reading materials. Somehow, I made it through class with an A through paying attention, participating, asking questions and completing the assignments. (I didn't really read some of the books but faked it like most people fake orgasms) I eventually read books like the dragon can't dance that summer. WOW! Thanks prof.

Very full of herself. Take her class if you want to pay to hear about her life and complaining. I agree with other ratings, If you are a guy, you're in, a girl forget it. If I had to do over again, I WOULD NOT take any of her classes.

There are some good things and some bad things about Dr. Baron. She really liked me (a white male), but my white female friends in the class claimed she was biased against them. I did see white girls getting A's on their papers, so get on her good side.

she talks about herself A LOT shes pretty bubbly and friendly, but once you get on her bad side your ****ed- so dont do that lol she isnt accepting of views that differ from hers so just agree agree agree but overall if you pay attention you will do fine.
