If you are not an art major or not even remotely interested in art you best stay away. I'm an art major & this was a difficult class if you don't think abstractly, but it's a good challenge that I was happy to tackle. She appears tough, but she really wants you to learn & so when she rips your practice projects apart it's in good intent. Promise.

Comment:

Outside of class, Renee is a great women. Inside, she will rip your project apart if you don't like. It was difficult to come up with ideas that she could approve of. And if there is one flaw in your work she will take it off and make you do the whole thing over.

She is very funny and outgoing, all the while being serious and giving great feedback. My strongsuit has never been in abstract, 3D creations, but as I struggled, she helped out a lot. She is super passionate about her work and would not mind taking her again. I loved her so much I want to do Jewelry making just to have her again!

Renee is one of the best professors I've ever had. Super sweet, and always willing to help. I had her for 3D, and you will work your butt off in that class. Expect many hours of work outside of class! The projects are unique, fun, and very rewarding. You will learn a lot. Critiques take time but are incredibly helpful. Great class!

Renee is a fantastic instructor. While she isn't always very specific with the assignments initially, she works hard to make sure each student understands her. She also takes into account the effort you put into the class. If you challenge yourself then you will see a reward for it in your final grade. definately would recommend!

She's such a sweetheart! I loved Renee. She was very clear about what she's looking for and goes out of her way to help you with your projects. 3D Design is fast paced and challenging but Renee made the class fun and interesting. I highly recommend her to anyone!
