Comment:

Dr. Finger is a great person and dedicated professor/advisor. She would often be in her office well into the evening and was truly dedicated to her students. She expected a lot, and was challenging but that should be expected from a professor. It's a shame that the Messiah community did not show her the respect she deserved

She makes you learn. She also makes you challenge your viewpoints, which upsets some people. She does NOT tell you what to believe. You will work for your grade, but you will know you've learned something. Give her a chance. She is very helpful if you simply ask.

I think Dr. Finger is fantastic. She gets a bad rep for some reason, but she's helpful if you ask, and really interested in both her subject and her students. Seriously, don't listen to what others say--she's a good prof if you give her a chance.

I love this woman! She is one of the best profs I have had. She gets a bad rap around campus, but she really cares for the students and the material she is teaching. She draws from a lot of sources, and has an invested intest in the subject she teaches. Passionate about Jesus and understaning him correctly. Give her a Chance!!!

I heard so much bad stuff about her, but seriously her CCC class is a breeze. You don't need to attend every class, and she'll accept late work. Just make one point in class and the rest of the time do work for other classes. Bible is prob different tho...

really hard class...the tests were very difficult, it was hard to ever know what was going to be on it before going into it, her reviews sometimes didn't even cover the stuff on the test...good side is that i learned the most in this class than i did in any other this semester, she is very helpful and knows her stuff, answers your questions well

entirely too much work. tests are hard and even if you study a lot you will have trouble but thankfully the homeworks are worth a lot to make up for it. classes are boring. but - she is very nice, she'll answer any questions you have and she wants to get to know you. and she loves the Lord. but still - take someone else!

Absolutely terrible class. Her views are ridiculous and the test are completely opinionated. In order to get a good grade in the class you have to answer the way she wants you to...not what you honestly think. Tests are worth 125 pts and are 35 questions...good luck telling me that's fair. Very boring and way too hard for a gen ed bible class.

I hated this class. She brings her unwavering oppions and is mean to those who disagree. She judges your work based on whether your oppion agrees with hers, not whether you did the assignment well or not. I would never take another class with her.

Finger really isn't that bad. She's a very nice lady. I will admit that some of the stuff she taught us in class was caused me to question my beliefs, but I think that is her goal. She wants us to know why we believe what we believe. Still, I think she could definitely do a few things differently.

Dr. Finger is a really nice lady who gets a really bad name. Don't listen to people who try to tell you she believes God is a woman, this is NOT the case. People who have her that think she's a raging feminist usually come from a more conservative upbringing. I doubt she'd get criticized as much for her views if she was a male bible prof.

She is honestly an aweful teacher. I would never recomend taking a class with her. She is one the reasons I changed my major, her thoughts and theology are rediculous and that is what she teachers. Everything she says is either obvious crap that she knows nothing about or it is her oppinion. she needs to retire.

She is the reason that I am transferring. She believes Jesus was a woman, doesn't believe in heaven, and accused my class in faking our salvation and not believing truly in the resurrection of Jesus. Her exams have n othing to do with what we learn in class, and the things she teachers are her own opinions and have nothing to do with the bible.
