Civil 230 is a difficult course, but Dr. Vaziri makes it easy to ace it. He is really organized and clearly states his expectations and schedule of the course so you know exactly what to expect. His lectures completely cover every concept and he posts the notes so you could go over them at home. go to lectures, do the assignments, get an A

He is definitely the kindest teacher I have ever had. He has nothing but kindness and respect for his students. As a lecturer, he is very organized and thorough, he gives his students all the necessary components to do well, and his quizzes and tests are very fair. 12 out of 10, incredible teacher!

Professor Vaziri is a great prof. His teaching style is slower and sometimes almost boring but he's very thorough. Quizzes are fair. Assignments are long and tough but they are marked easy and they help you learn the material very well. Definitely take his course

Dr. Vaziri is a really nice guy. He has really good lecture notes to help you understand the materials. Make sure you do the assignments because the quizzes and the final exam will be similar. I don't like this course but I still did well, thanks to Dr. Vaziri!

This guys is really good. One of the best prof's I've had. He's organised, fair, goes at a good pace, really tries to make you understand. He'll never throw you curve balls or trick you. His lectures are excellent and he's really helpful in his office hours as well. Top notch. Definetaly try to get him as your prof...you'll learn more

He provides very detailed notes with sufficient examples. His style of teaching reminds me of my conscientious high school teachers. In particular,his weekly quizes reminds me of my grade 8 math teacher. The teaching assistants are not very helpful.If you comprehend his notes and review the quizes before the final exam, it is very easy to get an A.
