One of the worst professors I've had by far, not a single lesson went by where he didn't actually go off on tangents about his trip to China, or Japanese sword making. The exams could've been fair had he not decided to always add a little twist in it and leak the twist to the people who are tolerant enough to show up to his lectures.

Great lectures, very fun to attend and keep the interest of the students. A good balance of theory and calculations in exams. Very good marker, if you deserve the mark you will get it. ATTEND CLASS FOR BEST RESULTS

He makes the weirdest exam, it is a class about general ideas of materials, but he made the exam all about small details. The midterm and final only test on the slides(small points) (he said that the questions will all come from the textbook) and he is not very good at explaining stuff even though the content of the class is interesting

Steve is a good guy, jokes around with the students, fair assignments and exams, just study old exams. Always willing to answer questions, and likes to be challenged in class. Dont be intimidated, Steve likes to get to know his students.
