I do NOT recommend anybody taking her for any class. I was out sick and missed two whole classes and she gave a 40 point classwork quiz while I was out. When I returned to class the following week she would not let me make it up and it dropped my grade from a 93 down to a 77 and the only chances I had to bring up my grade was our next two tests.

This teacher is very vague in the way she teaches her material. I was in ready to learn and leave very confused. She is not much help at all and she knows the material but lacks the talent of getting other people to understand it.

Not a very good teacher. Doesn't really explain well. Very confusing. I enjoy math but this was one of the hardest classes and it is because of the teacher. I have talked to several students and no one has done well on tests and might have to drop the class, which is sad. This is the only class holding me back from graduating in May.

I would not recommend this teacher to anyone she is tough and never explains how to do a problem . She goes way to fast and always messes up somewhere in her problems and we always had to tell her she is messing a sign or that doesn't go there it was always something she is not approachable and makes her students scare to ask question worse teacher

MRS ODEN IS A VERY GOOD TEACHER. ITS SAD TO SEE MANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS. I BELIEVE IF YOU DO ALL THE HOMEWORK SHE GIVES IN CLASS YOU WILL DO VERY WELL. SHE DOES GIVE A LOT OF HOMEWORK,BUT HER EXAMS ARE REALLY MUCH EASIER THAN THE HOMEWORKS.

She makes herself completely unapproachable for help and rushes through all the work during lecture. Questions are met with passive aggressive responces. Nickel and dimes everything on tests. I ended up having to drop the class because she grades her tests so harshly, and gave no other grades outside of the tests. Avoid this teacher at all costs.

This professor was the worst I've ever taken. She used phrases like, "I'm here to teach you, not answer your questions." Which is interesting because the two go hand in hand. I received zero help when asking questions in class and many times got sarcastic answers back instead of clarifying a question. Do not take her if you don't understand math.

Meh. That is the best summary available. Although she is helpful after class, during class it seems like she is going through the motions. There are only 4 exams (5 maybe?) & a few quiz grades, no participation points, & you're done. If you do not study extensively for each test, your grade may fall short. Opt to not take her class only if a must.

AVOID THIS CLASS! The only grades she has are the test w/ an exception of a few 5-10 pt quizzes. ?'s on the test are more advanced than ?'s done in the homework. I actually STUDIED for every test&on average came out w/ a 75. Ive always been good at math. Favorite subject actually. If there is a night class offered take it! Or i'll cost you your 4.0
