Her class is a blessing to us with Social Anxiety. She really is straight forward no surprises on test. Or grading of speech. Plus showing up for class gets you so many points. I ended up making a 110/100 in her class due to pratication points. You hontestly can survive without the book though.

Mrs. Connell was really kind. She puts you at ease when you are giving your speeches. She knows you are nervous and will not be overly critical. She was very fair in her grading.

She's a pretty easy teacher to do Speech for. The way she is made it easier for me not to get too nervous. She's not too picky on how we do our speeches either.

I took Mrs. Connell for speech online and it was easy. You have a test each week that is only 20 points and then 2 outlines and 2 speeches. You have to do the speeches to pass they are 5-7 minutes long. She is not a tough grader on the speeches.

Easiest A by far. I looked over the study guide five minutes before each test and made a 100 every time. Speeches are an easy A and I read all of mine word for word off note cards. 5 point daily activities, but I skipped a few times and still had an A. Do not buy the text book.

Don't bother with the textbook. The whole class is just her reading out of it anyway. It's kind of ironic that my speech teacher is the only teacher who just reads out of the book instead of actually lecturing... If we didn't have 5 pt daily activities, I would just show up to the tests and speeches, it's that easy and pointless.

Unless you have a phobia of speaking in front of people, this class is very easy. Reviews very well for test and usually lets you pick the topic you have to speak about. I used the textbook a little but it isn't essentially necessary to pass.

This was the most intimidating class I have ever taken. Public speaking is a very scary thing to do. BUT this class was actually very fun. You have a 5 point group activity due everyday. Also, 4 impromptu speeches are given through the semester. The 2 main speeches are easy to get through. Mrs. Connell is a very sweet lady. The tests are easy A's.
