I waited two semesters before I was even able to take him. His class filled up before I was even eligible to register. When I was able to register for his class, it was WELL WORTH IT!!! I love Dr. Chesteen. He is the best and most caring teacher (besides Dr. McDonough) that I have ever meet! Test are hard... study the study guides and you will pass

Complete badass... gets off topic from time to time, but knows everything about everything. tests are fair and do reflect on what the study guide shows. i've taken two classes with him and is the only professor i will try to take. i suggest taking him especially if you're a pol sci major. also, he's liberal, but is fair when it comes to students.

I am tired of hearing talk about how boring or how liberal Dr. Chesteen is. He is one of the few prof. i have had that will help you with anything, not just school. Once lent me 10$ for gas! And you actually have the nerve to complain bout his style, you want to take a teacher that would hurt your GPA? Not Smart. Study guide, answer to everything

Doc as i have come to know him is great! He is very enthusiastic about teaching poli sci! The "doc" will sometimes bore you but he will do anything to help you get the grade you want out of the class. the test are straight from the study guides he provides you!!! You can not go wrong taking this man. Just put forth minimal effort and u make an A!!

Nice man, most boring class EVER! I am an A-student, but dropped this class because about 95% of the class slept or walked out during lectures. He also stares in one place the WHOLE time and rambles on and on about things that don't have too much to do with actual politics- things like the President's dog, inaugural ball dresses, etc.

Dr. Chesteen is a funny little man! Sit close to the back so that you can sleep and you will be fine. You don't have to listen to the lectures...just buy the study guide and study that....don't even buy the textbook! Go to all of the speakers he suggests or write the essays he asks for! VERY EASY A!!!

Dr. Chesteen is a wonderful teacher and I enjoyed his class A LOT!!! We got off subject a lot, but our class talked about important issues happening today so it made the class more interesting. If you could pick any Political Science teacher your best bet is Dr. Chesteen. He is grrrreat!

Chesteen's lecture is incredibly boring. Comm Law is an interesting class, yes, but it should have and could have been more interesting if he realized we were all almost asleep. However, he does present good cases and arguements. KNOW the study guide-test is directly over the study guide.
