Professor is very nice and willing to help you if you need it. Read all the test questions the class before the exam so you new the exact questions on the test. Focus more on his lectures than the book and be sure to listen to the examples he provides.

Talks about his political views instead of teaching. Unless you're white and christian you'll probably hate him. Don't recommend.

Okay, so I'm not going to lie. I absolutely hated Crandall. If you are an incredibly opinionated person, and strong headed. STEER CLEAR. I didn't listen to this and ended up getting so fed up with his class that I just taught it to myself and went for the exams. The class in itself is not hard.

Although a lot of students may not appreciate Professor Crandall's opinions or beliefs, he was an excellent teacher. I found that he was extremely passionate about teaching, and that helped engage students. He was thorough in the coverage of material, and was always willing to speak with me if I had an issue or concern. He was so, so funny.

People say that they don't like Crandall because he's a bitter old man, but he really is a sweetheart. if you're having trouble in one of his classes you can go to his office and he'll help you with whatever you need. His tests are kind of hard though, have to study for them.

He is a very sarcastic man and he likes to lighten the mood of the class with humor. Almost everything that comes out of his mouth is a joke. He's a great guy and he tells you what is going to be on the test when he lectures using the textbook. The definitions are a big part of the tests so I would recommend studying them!

Had for deviance. Is a very conservative and opinionated professor. Many times too narrow minded. Tests are all essay and it has to be an answer that supports his claims or viewpoint. Not impressed.

Prof. Crandall is an overall good professor. He talks too fast when lecturing but is pretty clear to point out what to know for test. His tests are all essay. His soc 338 class is waaaay harder than soc 326/327. Soc 101 was right in the middle. He is a helpful prof too. I would recommend him over the other Soc professors. Fair grader.

Great professor, one of my favorites here at LSSU. I have taken most of his classes, and I wish he taught more of them. He goes over exactly what you will need for the exams.

The best thing to get a good grade is to go to class and highlights what he goes over in the book. It's hard and stressful to study for the tests because you never know what he'll ask. Ex: out of all the stuff he went over in the chapters he could ask a question that you wouldn't have thought was important. His tests are all short essay questions.

If you are interested in being called a loser on a regular basis, by all means take this class. No class period is complete without him calling the class a room full of losers. Laughing about it does not make it funny, it makes it sick.

I had a very hard time following his lectures. He read straight out of the book, but jumped around alot. Also repeated himself horribly.
