He puts all the notes for everything online. Just memorize those and it's an easy A. You do need to go to class though as he does take attendance. The weekly homework is also annoying but easy. Offers a makeup test (which replaces your worst grade) which is helpful. Take your laptop to class or you will be bored.

Great teacher, always there to help, will give you a makeup exam at the end if you feel you did badly on one test, only one homework per week and gives review sheets for exams. I would definately take him again if I had the chance

boring class but a great teacher and a very interesting guy. tests are made up of material he posts on blackboard. 1 homework assignment from the book per week and he'll give you a 100 on it no matter how late you actually hand it in. gives 1 make up test and posts final grades hours after you take the exam. he really does look like milton. easy a

Comment:

Real good professor of Macroeconomics. He gives clear lectures, though they can be a bit boring. His tests are very fair and mostly come from the worksheets that he uploads onto Blackboard. SAVE THEM because the final is cumulative. I liked Dr. Downs' class though I learned a lot more about OPEC than I really cared to.

Awesome professor. People who don't understand economics or disagree with him sometimes have trouble, because he assumes a basic knowledge of the topic. If you are interested at all in economics, you must take him. Possibly the best professor at Seton Hall/ Stillman and the one with the most interesting world view.

resembles milton from office space a tiny bit. pretty easy class for econ...you dont have to take notes cause he gives you handouts to study from and gives you a focus list for the tests. Also, he gives makeuptest and on the tests he takes the best 10 out of 12. sometimes boring class, but take him.

Nice, really intelligent guy. Don't really study the book, study the handouts he gives you. Even gives a makeup exam opportunity. You will learn something, he talks about real world stuff during class and loves making fun of liberal "socialists". I am a Democrat and I still like him so don't let that part of him scare you away.

Awesome Teacher. Extremely smart. Night class can be hard because its so long and he's usually just lecturing but at least he knows what he is talking about. His class will change your life, or at least change the way you vote, if you learn anything at all.

He's a great prof. Knows alot about subject matter and teaches it well. Prepares you very well for exams by giving focus list. Other comments from people in my night class who sat in the back of the room and dont care about education only AIM. Take Him!

Tests are impossible. You need to memorize everything from the handouts, all vocab, all notes, and everything he says. Night class was extremeley boring. Definitely recommend bringing your laptop to class.
