Respectable guy and reasonable. A bit confrontational if you don't approach him in the right manner; however, in the end, he is very reasonable and willing to assist and accommodate students' needs when required. Very accessible administrator and responds to emails often instantaneously. Recommended!

Made a topic I had very little personal interest in seem compelling and interesting. If you want something more in depth then go with Adams, but Gold gives you a very effective brush through of the relevant issues. Very insistent on the correct theoretical approach and some people just were not able to understand it, so perhaps that is a bad thing.

in all fairness, he is actually hot. the benefit of taking his class ends there. evaluation methods were completely unfair, and he whined like a little school girl when confronted by the entire class about it. dont be fooled by the image - its all smoke and mirrors.
