Robert Solomon is the most competent, caring and engaging professor I've ever had. He gave us his heart and soul. His course was so well structured, and with his lecturing ability, it's like he instilled his passion in us, too. This is what university profs are supposed to be like. I am devastated that this is the only course he teaches.

He is by far my favourite university professor - nothing short of exceptional. He is engaging, interesting, funny, and clearly cares very much about his students and about teaching this course. The textbook was written personally by him so all material is easy to understand and no extra distractor information. Always available to help students!

He is absolutely brilliant! The most passionate, enthusiastic professor I have ever had. The weekly quizzes have the odd tricky question but are fair (same can be said about the exams). Study the slides and use the textbook for the cases and this should be an easy 80. Dr. Solomon is incredible; cynical and a dry sense of humor. Don't miss out!

He stands apart from most boring and repetitive health sci profs because he is charismatic, clearly passionate, and makes an outward effort to be available for his students. If you email him with a question for clarification he will personally call you back. He's witty. Good sense of humour. You'll do well if you keep up w him in lecture.

Solomon is very energetic for his age, which is great for law lectures because the material could get boring at times. He's a straight shooter when it comes to the facts about law, doesn't sugar coat things with political correctness -makes it great and funny for understanding. Great sense of humour. Greatest prof at Western by far.

Robert is very passionate about his work and expects a lot from his students. He really challenged me to think about the problem from an objective, analytical standpoint. I have had a great experience and enjoy his sense of humor. His keen perception honed over years of experience studying the law is greatly appreciated.

He's entertaining, and you actually learn! He's very helpful if you approach him. I loved his class. It was the only one to make me lol. He gave me hope that law doesn't have to be boring or self important. I took every class he taught.

Wildly entertaining lectures were unexpected from such a straight-shooter type prof. His presentation could not have been more clear and material was interesting and straightforward. Does not ramble on about inapplicable policy problems but rather teaches the meat and potatoes and the cold facts of the law. would definitely take other courses with.

He is on a witch hunt about the many evils of the elixer of life. Has some good moments life the demonstration of the difference between 'Assault' & 'Battery', but those glimmers of light do not make up for the burden of his class.
