So boring I stopped going to class! Horrible professor! Despite it being a MATH course he takes points off for grammatical errors even if the answer and work are all correct!

Dr. Haworth is a nice teacher who tries to teach Calculus I, but can't quite pull it off. He needs to understand that to get students to learn the material he has to make the homework something that will be graded. In addition, he needs to spend more time teaching and less time doing "group work." The group work really didn't help me learn the mate

Really nice man. He goes really in-depth with the concepts that you learned on the surface in high school. Is really helpful and always available during office hours. You have to do your homework to understand the concepts but overall a great teacher. Really easy quizzes and tests.

He seems nice enough, but he CANNOT TEACH!!!! Plain and simple! Be prepare to be totally lost. He will mess up and contradict himself 20 times before he gives you the lesson he wanted to teach. As a result I found myself logging far too many hours teaching myself outside of class, making up for him.

He's very nice and will answer any questions you have.You may be lost a lot in class because he isn't very clear.His tests are easier than you may think at first.He emphasizes out of class work.If you work hard outside of class you should be fine.I wouldnt recommend taking him during winter term.

One of the nicest men I've ever met but not a great teacher. Everything is done in group work...almost no lecture. Helpful outside of class but in class, prepare to be lost.

Hayworth doesn't teach. Take this class if you want to be lectured day by day on how to succeed in life. He doesn't answer questions in class, doesn't use examples, and his grading style is bad. Make sure you state every theorem ever written by every mathematician that ever lived if u want credit

Really nice guy, a grandfather type. Likes to use the calculator a lot which makes it easier. But rushes through the material and doesn't teach it a lot. When he does try to teach however, he talks way too much. If you have a TA, definitley ask them to help first.

The man hadn't taught calc in 10 years before I had him spring '04. Not a great teacher. He emphasized working in groups; I think to get out of teaching a lot of the stuff that he couldnt. Not a very good teacher.

Doesn't teach, text book has no examples. Makes his teaching assistant do everything. Takes attendence and gives points for it, not legit excuses for class, not even health/ sports related. I felt like I was teaching my group the entire semester. I did his job for him. What a waste of time.

Very nice man. He loves it when you ask him for help, and is always willing to help you with anything until you understand it. Really likes to get his students interested in math, which is often hard to do. I would definitely take another class with him.

Honestly, he's the nicest man I've ever met. He will humor you with his silly stories and innocence. However, his lectures come across harder to grasp than they really are. This can become frustrating and confusing.
