People who dont like him are used to normal professors who dont give insight on real world situations. If you dont like prof lowerys class chances are you havent faced the real world yet. You can read the book but Prof will tell how to use it in real life if you can keep up with his thought process. Problem is people care about grades not learning!

Terrible Professor. Talks about himself the majority of the class about how "cool" he is. Doesn't teach much then has the audacity to give a 50 question final exam when he didn't teach anything out of the book. His class is a complete joke, the highest grade you can get is a C regardless. Insults his students for not participating. Waste.

Professor Lowery is a Great Professor! You have to read the textbook. Make sure you participate in the discussion every single time you get a chance. Show up to class and just enjoy what Professor Lowery and your peers have to say. I learned a lot from Professor Lowery and my peers. Read the syllabus! Do as many papers as he offer.

One of the most unserious proffesors at Bowie state. All he talks about is hand dancing and never gives class work. He goes off topic ALOT and gets mad when people in the class don't interate with his lectures that have nothing to do with the course. you can interact everyday in class and pass all the tests and end up with a C.

Prof Lowery is a very interesting professor to say the least lol. If you borrow get the book from someone else, do that because he does not teach from the textbook. He does teach good life lessons and will challenge you to speak your mind and challenge his opinion. He is no walk in the park lol I would suggest sitting in the front of the class.

This class in my opinion is a joke. You work all semester scoring A's on all of your assignments only to find out you get a C final grade for not talking enough in class. Majority of the conversations do not relate to the students so it is very difficult to participate. Don't know how to reply to hand dancing topics....

It's actually a good class. If you are quiet, he is not the professor for you. He expects his students to engage in the conversation and that is pretty much how you get graded in his class. Based on your participation in class and he's quite clear about it. You will certainly learn life lessons from him.

GREAT PROFESSOR! Teaching style is way different, teaches beyond the text book and applies his lessons to real life. Everyone loved going to his class because it was interactive and engaging. You learn a lot more only if you can read between the lines wtih what he's saying. Valuable lessons learned. Made my college experience worthwhile
