This women is terrible! Professor Jackson rants more than she lectures. All she do is rant based off of what we do wrong and expects us to learn from that. She is by far the worst professor i have come encounter with.

She gives a whole bunch of work and then complains about having to read the work she gives. You have a daily journal and weekly journal. Plus an essay every week and you have assignments out of the textbook (that she never discusses) She tells you to always look at the syllabus but never does anything off of it on time. DONT TAKE HER. ITS A SET UP.

Not really a helpful professor if your struggling. Time will pass and will still allow you to do poorly in this course. Always showed up 10-30mins late for class 90% of me taking this class. Didnt really learn a lot from this professor very slow updating grades.

She has a terrible attitude problem and always so quick to get smart with anyone no matter how politely you come across. She doesn't use technology so the only way of communication is her office hours. She will possibly fail you based on her memory of your class attendance not based on the actual quality of your work. Gives everyone low grades.

Taking Prof. Jackson's class had to have been the worst decision I've made academically. She's not tech-savy, can be very rude on the sly, doesn't follow the syllabus, doesn't give good feedback on essays, and made us buy all kinds of books just to collect dust, and OFTEN gives lectures on nothing related to the class. Also, grades last minute.

I passed this class but I felt like I was getting a C the whole ride. She tells you to read the textbook when it changes often and she herself does not refer to the book. She grades harshly. You're not sure if your structure or word choice is a problem for her. Most people will not receive an on any papers because she looks for anything.

Get ready to learn in this class, along with papers almost every week. She does have smart responses, but she has a good heart. I could say that she has made my writing extremely better. Basically don't take her if you want an easy class, but if work does not bother you she is a great teacher and will teach you if you are willing to learn.

Professor Jackson seems like she is mad at the world. When you ask her a question, be prepared to get a smart response, (even if you're a polite). She has strong views about her Egyptian ancestors, and she easily gets off topic if you bring it up. She isn't organized, and she grades essays very hard. On our midterm essays she gave mostly D's.

Ms. Jackson is hard. But when I tested out of her class she told me I was failing bc of my attendance. When I got to know her she is a sweet lady. She is tough on you because she wants you to do good and learn how to manage your time.

She made us write everyday in a "journal"...we did almost every assignment in the mla handbook...and they say i say...we also had to read a seperate novel...and lastly we wrote at least 8 papers...which she grades very hard...i never got higher than a C- on a paper...since she gives so much work you dont get your paper back until weeks later
