Ric is a great prof. I've taken 3 courses with him and I find that he's really entertaining and knows his stuff. He does expect a lot from group projects and presentations, so be VERY prepared. Attend all classes and participate. For this particular course, keep up with chapter readings - the final test is a little intense. Overall, great guy.

Not a fan. I agree that criticism will only make you a better student, but when it isn't clear or directive, and leaves you wondering where you stand, it isn't necessary. It's hard to tell if he grades on your knowledge or his favoritism. I know I am not alone in these views.

I like Ric. He is a decent man. Go to class, participate, and be well prepared for presentations. He can do a bit of ripping if you are not. Be patient, he will interrupt you when you are presenting but listen to what he has to say, don't be to defensive and think on your feet fast.

funny prof, but terrible marker. multiple choice midterm was alright, but be prepared for the group project! no matter what you do you will not be rewarded with a good mark. nevers gives barely any direction for this project and expects the world. the other marketing prof for this class marks much easier

You basically teach yourself and he criticizes. Apparently this is life, however, you can't be expected to learn and ace it if you're teaching yourself. He'd be much more effective if he was actually approachable.

Good Luck! Not a horrible person, but when it comes to helping you out, via emails or in person, he does not respond, or sits there looking at you like you are stupid. Too much emphasis on group projects, says one thing but then, goes back on his word. Be prepared to be made fun of and speak up or it will not be a good experience at all.

I have had Nevers for 2 courses now. He plays favourites more than any other prof. He can be okay, if he likes you. Very vague in what he asks you for and you'll really have to pump him to answer any questions. Be sure to go to every class and speak up! Very anal about both.

Rick Nevers. When I first heard about him I was told "Never take Nevers". I don't think he was that bad of a prof. Marketing Projects at the end of the term were horrible. Make sure the powerpoints, laptop and projector all work. He laughs through his nose, wears tight pants and loves the liquor industry. Take him if you like to read the textbook.

Very hard prof, if you are not prepared to study then don't take him. He is also a very good prof and makes you learn the stuff. Had a group presentation and he was aking one of the girls in my group a lot of questions and she ended up leaving the class crying.

a classic guy with alot of charm and charisma. His lectures are straight from the text. He gave us a vague group project and then went crazy when we didn't do exactly what he wanted. He is never clear about what he wants and is very harsh when he doesn't like your work. He plays favorites BIG TIME. I would avoid another class with him at all costs
