He no longer give take home exams. Allows only one page of formulas for a good number of chapters (for exams only). Tests are very hard, he puts things he never went over in class in them too. He makes you get a Bloomberg certification on your own time. Will not respond to emails. Took him because people say he is good, he ruined my GPA.

I took Ottoo's class because I read reviews here say he was good. This semester, he became the hardest professor I've ever had. Tests are no longer take home. He allows only 1 page of formula for 5 chap. of formulas. Will take away sheet for final, he says. Tests are super hard on things he barely went over in class. We'll see how the final goes...

I wish I learned more. The class is easy => tests were take home. Q’s with Answers online. Prof, change the number in the questions at least. Book was irrelevant to the class. Slides from diff book. But he is nice guy.

very nice and polite professor. Treats everyone with respect.Is not a good teacher though. Needs to speak louder and clearer, hard to pay attention and easy to get confused. The midterm and final were take home.

I took his class fall 2010Both MidTerm and Final were take home and Challenging. Of course this is a MBA level not kindergarden. From his exams you will find questions that are strighforward from the notes and cases discussed in class and some questions that require to think outside of the box. Study the cases properly and you will have A

Probably the worst professor I had. Did not learn anything. This guy is a disgrace to the MBA program at Pace. The administration should be more careful when choosing people to teach the capstone course in finance.

Sorry, but I can't recommend him. I did alright, particularly as a person without a Finance background, but he is entirely too arbitrary in his grading (penalized the same mistake multiple times as the error carried thru) and unhelpful outside of class. Never before has a prof. refused to discuss class material with me during stated office hours.

DO NOT TAKE. This class made me stupider. Never paid attention because he confused me on things I had already learned. One of the most useless classes I have ever taken in my life. Easy take home exams though, if you can stand the classes. He is a nice guy and very smart, just a horrible teacher. You will learn nothing.

Great Professor, he explains everything and his midterm/final are very straight foward. He gives a review and post it online a few days before which pretty much mimics the exam. All notes are on powerpoint so just pay attention and study youll do great. Allowed 1 sheet of paper front and back for exams which helps a bunch. TAKE HIM HES GOOD!
