Really nice guy, just extremely unorganized. Hard to follow his lectures because he doesn't really focus on specific topics. He's kind of just all over the place. Never read any of those books, but made decent grade on tests. Got a B in the class with minimum effort. If you desire clarity and consistency, I don't recommend taking him.

A lot of his classes were turning into "football team friendly" affairs. There's no such thing as a regular class with him. The attendee's are always such a varied bunch. Hippies, preachers, crazy people, football players. But that always lent it a nice vibe because it was SO unusual. He's a sweet man and very kind.

His classes are sometimes kinda tough, but they're all very interesting and very informative, and he does an amazing job presenting the information. Loves to stay away from lecturing all the time. Very nice person. He is very clear with the material, and lets you know what he expects on the tests. The best professor I've ever had at Auburn. Also a funny guy, he has some hilarious stories about his kids! Strongly recommend this professor!

Nicest guy around; and very easy. He didnt know much about Eastern religions, but still made the class so that we learned a lot. He grades writing pretty easy, and doesnt require a lot of it. Must memorize a lot of facts though.

ive taken many classes with this man and he is a wonderful teacher. his style is so laid back and disarming that it makes learning and class discussion very easy. one of the most intelligent human beings ive ever met.

I loved this class. Penaskovic is great! ....very helpful. he does expect effort, and this class does require time, but it is an awesome class and i learned a lot. go to class, and read the required material and u will do well.
