If you pay attention to him in class, hes a AWESOME professor. His exam was fair and easy. But i hated when the day before the exam he will tell the class, that the exam will cover from preschool to now!. Yet we also had the best TA for E-Mag =).

Very clear, organized, consistent, and fair. Professor P was almost always available for help. Students that worked hard gained a strong understanding of the material while those that didn't put in the required study time outside of class failed. -- Engineering professors don't fail students; engineering students fail themselves.

I took his class. It was hard, but if you went to him, he was always helpful. He was by far one of the most caring professors Binghamton had. It is sad he had to go. I was actually looking forward to taking him for Electromagnetics this fall.

I would have to say this. I never struggled in his class. It just happened to be one of those classes that caught my interest. It is the class that made me stick with engineering since it was my first real engineering course. He is a great guy, but it is a shame he is now gone.

Anyone who says that this professor is bad has not kept up with their studies. Having TAed under him and now seeing these students who I have TAed for responding by saying that he is terrible just makes me mad. I This is the best teacher I have experienced at Bing. He will make you think, but that is why you are there. Anything else is just a joke

California's loss is our gain. The EE department at Binghamton would have been better off if Plumb had never been hired. We won't miss this guy.

He is the best at Binghamton. Very challenging but a great teacher. Binghamton will loose a great teacher. But Congrats to Prof. Plumb as he will be moving to California to become a Dean.

The man is a jerk!He screwed us over on 2 exams by lying about the format.Him and the TAs treat the class like a joke and blame everything gone wrong on the students. To him everything is our fault.Apparently you not doing well in the class is not their fault..but yours for not being smart enough. at least thats what one of the TAs said.

Are you in the same class as I am? Electromagnetics is one tough course and Plumb does a great job of explaining hard material. You must be the only one who's lazy the rest of us are working our butts off.
