Comment:

Research Methods is a and unpleasant HDFS class. Dr. Lempers is a nice man, but his lectures puzzle. There's not much structure in class and the notes are chalkboard scribble. The notes he hands out before the tests aren't based on his lectures so the tests are surprising. He rarely uses the book in lecture so the book doesn't always help either

Comment:

I really do love Dr. Lempers. He does, however, have a hands-off approach to teaching. He wants you to understand the material, but get frustrated when people don't understand what he is trying to teach. He has a heavy French accent, but it is not hard to get used to. Grades are not known until right before the final. No final if you have an A.

The teacher is great. However, he has a strong accent. The accent isnt so bad but the material itself is very hard. Very confusing material. He is very lenient on assignments so if you at least do them you will get the points. Tests are hard but he helps you prepare. Great teacher and hilarious

Funniest teacher I've had by far! Has a thick french accent and tells the funniest jokes. Very lienent on his assignments.
