I had many courses under Prof Roiger almost 20 years ago 91-94 for my MS. He was also my thesis guide. The best professor I have ever had. It used to be actually fun attending his classes. You learnt to think. His AI exams were tough but they were problems you had to think logically and solve. Awsome teacher, awsome person

I had Roiger in one of my intro courses and later in AI (Rational Agents). He allowed me to enter class about 6 weeks before end of semester and under his caring guidance I was able to catch up to everything the other folks have done by then. I am forever grateful to life for having let me meet this great guy.

Not bad, knows his stuff, but lets classroom discussion go too long. Also goes off on tangents about non-class-related topics. Once he talked for a half-hour about how we should all invest in IRAs. hilarious!

whoever said he loves to fail people you dont know what youre talking about he grades everything on a steep curve, he is easy to talk to and always willing to help if you have a legit question, hes also hilarious and laid back, one of the easier computer science teachers

His class isn't a cakewalk, but he makes it fun and if you listen, you'll walk out knowing a whole lot more than when you went in. Roiger is one of the most fair and down-to-earth professors I've met.
