A horrible experience. The Baroque era and the Classical era were my favourite periods in Music History..but he managed to make it so ridiculously boring and confusing. A nice person though, just not a very good teacher. You're better off just reading the textbook.

Very passionate about his work. I never tried to go to his office for help, but when I approached him after class, he was very helpful. I loved his lecture on Dido and Aeneas!

Wow, worst Prof ever. Went to him during office hours, and he acted as if I was a nuisance to him. Was very rude, did not answer my questions, marking scheme is a joke. And he talks through the listening examples...SO ANNOYING!

Although the man can dance a good renaissance step, he is a poor, disorganised lecturer. His office hours are a joke because he's practical useless and a bit of a social boob. Overly hard marker, i'm not sure his opinion of your subject matter should count for so much.

A great lecturer (and dancer). He really knows his stuff regarding baroque and classical music, and is quite the performer on early instruments. His tests can be challenging, but they are fairly representative of the material covered in class.
