Doc Sterling knows every french derived language there is....Haitian Creole, Louisiana Creole, Cajun and French. He is by far the easiest Prof at Bowie State. As an Art student I had to take 12 credits: 101, 102, 201, and 202. However please act like you give a damn for a chance! Do not ruin a gem in what should be a hard class. I recieved A's

Last took this prof in 2002. Excellent language prof. I took Spanish in high school & am now proficient & this prof was equivalent to that high school teacher in his teaching. He is knowledgeable, approachable, & friendly. Surprised to see he's still teaching bc he was up in age even back then, but that never slowed his pace. Great prof!

This class is a joke, but EASY A...he cancels class alot n doesn't have serious quizzes or exams jus hw which turn in a quiz or test...you really don't learn anything but hey don't complain its a easy A

Short classes on occasion, fairly easy homework assignments, sometimes doesn't hold class (Don't get me wrong, he's a great professor who makes learning French easy)..Hardest part is when he calls on you for an answer and you arent paying attention...Bottom Line, if you don't pass his class, you cant blame him.
