Travis is so sweet. His lectures can sometimes get a little boring, but that is only because of the material. The tests are straight from the powerpoints! There is an attendance policy--you can only miss 2 classes, but you get rewarded 10 points! So nice and so approachable. Also he will excuse you from class if you call him.

Not a bad class. You don't do anything in class but take notes so it can get boring but does not take much effort at all. The tests are not hard AT ALL the only thing is they're literally identical to the notes so the test questions can get rather specific. He has an example for literally everything...good guy, take him!

Sweet Man. His tests come straight from the power points. I haven't read at all and I have gotten a B+ on every test. Yes, attendance is mandatory BUT he give you 10 extra points if you come to every class, otherwise you are allowed to miss two classes. Come to class. Take notes (straight from slides). You will be FINE. :) I enjoy his class.

overall good guy but he acts like he is willing to help and hes not. He talks to much about his family and his medical problems and is very unclear. does not post powerpoints online and it makes it difficult to get notes. alright teacher though

sweetest, cutest old guy ever! tests can be pretty difficult, be prepared to work for an A. you have to go to class, but it's not horrible at all, he's very entertaining! always willing to help and very approachable, take him!

Interesting material and great professor...I enjoy having him in class. Tests are straight from notes and if you memorize the notes your golden. They aren't as hard as people say. Stronly recommend great guy

This man is the devil in disguise as a sweet old man. His test are next to impossible, a rediculous attendance policy to a rediculously boring class. Didn't miss a single class and got a C, this class will bring your gpa down. Questions use all five options for mc, and are like "is the answer A,B,C, two of the above, none of the above?

prof. means well, but is an aweful teacher. His notes are confusing and dont really make too much sense. The tests are impossibly hard. You pretty much have to teach yourself. The only good thing is that you get 10 ec points if you dont miss any classes

I must say that Dr. Travis is one of the sweetest professors I have ever had @ JMU..he is always willing to help out, and even though his tests can be a little tough if you don't put forth the effort in studying, you will learn a lot in his class and he def. makes you smile on a bad day!:)..just dont skip classes & you're golden!

so he's a sweet old guy. He's a little dorky, but tries to be nice. Lots of notes and the tests are just memorizing the notes but it's not hard at all. He randomly picks people to talk in the microphone and answer his random questions but other then that he's not bad. He takes attendance every day and don't try to slip out early HE WILL SEE YOU.

he goes WAY in depth for an undergrad setting. I feel like even 6 years later I can strap on a board of health badge and do that job blind folded...a bit too much in projects and hard tests, but he loves what he teaches, and overall good guy
