Dr. Cannioto is easily one of the most knowledgeable exercise physiology professors I have come across. She relates material to students seamlessly and is always willing to help a student with course difficulties that invariably arise. Her encyclopediac knowledge of the subject can, at times, result in students feeling self-conscious.

Comment:

Dr. C lives in her own world. I cannot imagine her outside of the academic bubble. She knows the material but seems more concerned with making sure you know she does, rather than teaching it to you. Seems to be always on guard. I would recommend a different course. Its passable but not worth the headache.

Dr. Cannioto is probably the best professor I had at SUNY Brockport and anyone who has made poor comments, about her teaching style or the class is either an immature whiny child or obviously shouldn't be taking classes at this level.

Dr. C can sometimes talk down to the class, but I'd get frustrated too if i had to teach the most boring material in the world. The math part of class is boring but there are some good facts learned at other parts of class. Dr. C is helpful and allows you to learn the material, but isn't very specific about what's on the tests.

Avoid her at all costs. Talks down to EVERYONE. Seems to attempt and make students feel small. Horrible lecture teacher. Believes she is above everyone and everything. Example: She went on a rant about how americans are poor for being glutons, SHE DRIVES A ****ING HUMMER H2!

Terrible...rude...doesn't attmit she is wrong. Will go on rants if you question her authority. Doesn't get the material across. One of those teachers who talks in circles and does not ever make a point. Difficult material. Helps to have taken statistics, esp. if you are dumb enough to take it with her

She's sweet. She never did anything to seem cocky or rude. She can be a little flakey at times, but she prepares well for class. Her powerpoints aren't of extremely goood use, but if you read in the book, you'll be okay. Take Statistics before if you want to do well in the course

Really great as an advisor, just does not get the job done as a professor. Is very unclear about her expectations and does not seem all that interested in helping the students who are having trouble. On the bright side, she is hella hot.
