she didn't put in one grade on blackboard all semester and she gives no feedback on papers. She is very critical in class and I think she comes off as rude. VERY tough grader for an improv class, i wold take another class.

This class was a blast!! Even if you are not comfortable in front of a group, you are bound to have a lot of fun. Susan is hilarious and not afraid to offend but in a funny way. You will not stop laughing in her class.

AMAZING. An easy A. All you gotta do is show up and write the 3 required essays of the year, which are only 2 pages long. She's hilarious, swears, and is all into fun. Highly recommend to take this honors course with her, you won't regret it.

She is a very fun teacher who does not look down upon students, especially shy ones. She understands acting out in front of others is hard sometimes. therefore she walks the class through the exercises. The midterm and final are in project from that require some outside classwork with others. There are a couple mandatory play reviews and attendance

LOVE LOVE LOVE Susan!!! Amazing, best prof I've had at bport. Improv was so much fun and she is hilarious. She is always laid back and we had a great time every class. I always looked forward to her class because it was a chance to just relax and have fun.

Oh my goodness. Susan is handsdown one of the best professors on campus. I took Honors Improv with her my first semester freshman year, and I so wish I had waited and taken it as stress relief for later years! Fantastic class so much so that one class period that she wasn't able to attend, EVERY SINGLE STUDENT came anyway to play the games!

SUSAN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Would take Improv with her every semester if possible. Allows you to make good friends and a great way to become comfortable in front of other people. I would trust Susan with my life and is so very funny and will always be there to help and encourage you. Couldn't say enough goood things about this woman. Amazing!

AMAZING. I would take Improv every single semester with her if I could. I'd never acted before and this was by far my favorite class. Susan is amazing. Really easy grader. Super funny. Nicest lady. Best class ever. I really can't say enough good things about her class.

I didn't know class could be so fun! Easiest class on the Brockport campus by far and probably the most fun. She is so nice and all you do is play games the entire class! It is a night class and the time just goes by so fast! I actually look forward to going to her class. There's a couple papers but they're really easy. The class is an easy A.

Amazing professor! Fun class, I did not like getting up in front of people but its not that bad! Fun class! Good honors class, you basically play games and it does not even feel like a class. I recommend this class regardless if you're into theater or not.

Susan is so understanding of shyness in her improv class. I had the class from 5:30-7 pm and she always let us out early because around that time everyone was getting hungry. If you didn't want to participate you didnt have to. She occasionally picks on people that haven't performed in a while, but shes fun. I got an A and did pretty much nothing.

AMAZING! I honestly dreaded the thought of getting up in front of people and acting things out, but it's really fun. She has you do crazy stuff, yes, but everyone does this crazy stuff too. She pushes you out of your comfort zone, but will NEVER make you do anything that you don't want to do. She's very open and I'm sad to be leaving her class

I took Honors Imrpv with Susan and she was absolutely wonderful. I 'm actually sad to be leaving that class. I wish I had it every day of the week for like an hour longer. I would recommend taking any class she teaches. I wish she was in the nursing dept so I could take all of my classes with her.

Before I took this class I was weary because I hate being in front of people and get embarassed easily, but this class changed all that. Susan is an amazing teacher, she is SO FUN and very talented. It's an easy A and will bring up your GPA. Def recommend to anyone who needs or wants to take improv, TAKE IT WITH HER.

Susan is fun & energetic - good qualities to have when teaching a three hour night class! She really gets into the improvisations & has a great time right along with the students. *Warning - your midterm assignment is to choose a song & SING it in front of the class. If you are horrified at this thought, be wary!* Otherwise, highly recommended!!
