This was one of the best classes i took during my 4 years at yorku. I think she is amazing. She is very interesting and helpful. If you want an easy mark this is the class to take. The workload is very little. There is not much required and she is very flexible. Love Professor Cohen!

Rina is the most wonderful prof. I ever took class with. If you want to learn something that is useful for your future take a class with her. And multicultural Canadian need to open their mind, and try to understand the message rather than picking on the accent.

One of the best professors I had in five years at York. I took two classes with Professor Cohen, and was able to both understand and enjoy the material. Her style of using group presentations to lead seminars is extremely engaging and useful. Great prof!!!!

Professor Cohen is the most approachable professor i've had in my four years at york!! She's extremely knowledgable and flexible in terms of assignments and presentations, and always offers to stay after class to help whoever wants. Overall a great professor =)

I really did not like this class or the professor. We were never given guidelines for assignments and she was not clear about grading or what she expected. Do not take this course if you actually want to learn anything. VERY FRUSTRATING!!

She is a very nice prof. She does have an accent but she is not difficult to understand at all. There was material we never covered in the class on our tests but the course is easy. I would def. recommend it to others. I really enjoyed it.

This prof is disorganized in the delivery of her lectures, even though she provides the lecture notes. We were tested on material that was never lectured on, due to a lack of time (which I thought was completely unfair). She did not elaborate on the few points given in the lecture notes. But, despite this the course was extremely easy.

good prof. hard to understand accent at first, but you get used to it. She's just a bit more disorganized in lectures and a bit harder on exams than Mandell. So make sure you focus 80% on reading materials if you want to do well. But getting an A in this class is a breeze as long as you do the readings, which are intersting and easy to understand.

Impossible to understand due to accent. Reads simply from the PowerPoints which she puts online anyways, so basically you can do it all yourself at home. Very boring, lots of readings. Kind of a waste of time. Nice woman though.

Her accent was very hard to understand plus the people in the class were just plain rude. Found it very difficult to understand what she was saying but she seemed to enjoy teaching. But it was difficult when she always lost her train of thought.

Rina can be the nicest person in the world but that doesn't change the fact that she can't lecture. I can't understand her accent and she is constantly losing her train of thought, which gets very annoying. Her lectures are a waste of my time. Too many people in this class who won't stop talking!
