My favourite prof so far! Very good teaching style in lectures but you have to be there. Make sure the material understandable and enjoyable, I would definitely recommend this course and this prof!

Prof. Foster is one of the best professors I have ever had at U of G. He is so funny and makes going to lecture very enjoyable. If you go to the lectures, you will remember his antidotes on each topic and this makes it really easy to remember course content. Instead of just memorizing, he really encourages you to learn and understand. 10/10!

Very passionate about what he teaches which shows in his lectures. Is easy to understand and uses interesting/humorous anecdotes to deliver some of the dry concepts. His accent is also really nice to listen to. Also a really down to earth prof.

It is very cumulative, the second and final tests give no preference to the new material. He graded very difficult, but the exam seemed to actually be fair. His lectures could be hard to follow because they jumped around a lot. Going to class seemed to be very important, as he gave good examples to attempt to explain concepts

Very knowledgeable prof, very interesting and useful lectures. Most useful course of my undergrad, I think. Biggest frustration of this course is the grading, which I would say is a little unfair. Otherwise, fantastic course.

Best professor ever- best course ever! Make sure you take it in class, so you don't have to get caught up on the details! Key word= PRINCIPLES! he swears by it, once you know the terminology and inflammation, you are golden.

He is amazing! This class is never dull when he is teaching. definitely one of my most favourite profs ever. All his exam questions are fair you just have to go to class and really understand the material. Dont start studying the day ahead!

Foster is a great prof, i really enjoyed his pathology class and all the funny stories he has to go along with it. DONT underestimate his exams though, they are a lot harder then you would think.

Really interesting prof... had a fear of his own blood... but hes a pathologist. Go figure. Lotsa stories to go with mat'l. Good course for any 'biology' student. Not too in-depth. A comprehensive outline of disease in each major system.
