Comment:

Rob is an absolutely phenomenal professor. He cares more for his students' success than any other professor whom I have encountered in both my undergraduate and graduate careers. He even attempts to adapt his lectures to include the interests of the students in the room. I would highly recommend anybody to take a course with him before he retires.

The greatest professor I have ever had and ever will have. He truly cares about his students and makes every class fun and interesting, and he can answer any question you have about what seems like any language. Take every class you possibly can with him.

Well, this was the best course ever. Prof. Howell was so easy to talk to and clearly really cared about how things were going for us. I got something interesting out of every class period. Tough exams, but absolutely fair. Expectations were very clear.

Professor Howell inspires his students, and he really cares about us. Like others have said. He is the kind of professor whose class is so interesting and compelling, you get yourself to go no matter what. Not easy, but so fair. I miss having him in my week.
