Dr. Miller is by far one of the most knowledgeable professors I have worked with on SUNY Potsdam's campus. She is extremely clear, provides plenty of examples, and gives you more than enough resources to be successful. 10/10 - incredible.

Extremely clear explanations at a pace that is absorbable. Weekly Homework and in-class worksheets both solidify learning and contribute to class grade. Regular quizzes help you keep track of what you need to practice. Every moment of every class was filled with something important to know. Tardiness and absence is a sure way to miss something key.

I had an excellent experience in Modern Algebra with Dr. Miller. She really values real effort and will help those that have put serious thought into their work. Her presentation of the material was exceptionally clear and her examples illuminating. I think she's wonderful!

Dr. Miller is a tough but helpful professor. The homework assignments are challenging but she is always willing to help when we put forth effort. Don't ask her for help if you haven't tried anything. Her tests are not too difficult. Overall, great professor.

she is horrible. she does not help you at all and makes everyone out to be an idiot. shes the worst teacher ive ever had, but very easy to get a good grade once you know the material, problem is she refuses to help you. worst ever. cant stress that enough. do not take her class .

All her weekly quizzes are to.help you retain what you learned personally I feel it's a great wat to teach. She's very nice & helpful sometimes I'd have trouble understanding something in class but never hesitated to help me out.you have to WANT to learn in order to do good in her class. She's the greatest! (She also makesthe occasional lame joke)

Dr. Miller is an excellent math professor. People get angry because she won't tell you how to solve a problem step-by-step. She WILL help you become an independent thinker (the most important skill a professor can teach). She really helps transition you from the babying of high school to becoming a thoughtful adult. I love her so much!

she is a horrible teacher she hands you a worksheet and you do the work yourself while she walks around with her coffe in your hand and if you ask her a question she makes you feel like you are stupid. DON'T take a class with her you will learn nothing.

i thought she was a great teacher. she looks like she has a sheep on her head, lol. trys to help the students but doesnt really do a good job, but its because she wants you to learn on your own. really nice outside of class as well as inside. blackboard quizzes and you can sumbit homework online. true that. good class, good teacher.

if you ask her a question she makes you feel like a retard..but there is no attendance policy, and everything besides tests is online, so its easy. remember, this is math for elementary ed, its a piece of cake class anyways, as long as you can teach your self, she sucks at answering questions.

Cheryl Miller sucks. The class is easy as****, but she's mean and doesn't seem to care at all. For instance, I was going to court against this guy and she wouldn't give me the absences or let me hand in the class work a day late. She's a major ****.

could tell she knew her stuff but she had a terrible time getting it across to the students. the only thing good about her class was also what killed me. No attendence policy & very little homework. Didn't go often, didn't get much work done, didn't get a really good grade on the tests.
