He's a grumpy dude, who doesn't seem to have much of an interest in teaching. He straight up tells you that what he teaches in class WILL NOT BE TESTED. But, you have to go to class for attendance marks and to meet with your group. The 2 tests are pure textbook info, no final exam. Group project is easy. Weekly group participation questions, easy

Easy class, but the prof wasn't the best. He's an intelligent prof but does not teach a lot. Read the textbook for the tests and show up to class for attendance marks.

An important marketing class but the prof is not the best. He can be very grumpy and uses unnecessary scare tactics to motivate students. You need to show up to class to meet up with your group. The project can be challenging depending on your company, but you can do well. Overall a pain to work with.

This professor is very rude and disrespectful to students. He uses unnecessary scare-tactics to attempt to motivate students. He is unapproachable, but this course is a required class and so many students are stuck with him. Try to avoid this professor! The group project is the only thing you do all semester - hope you get a good group.

Just use the textbook to study. Lectures are a waste of time. But lets you skip your 1 hour lecture.

Professor Wilson emphasizes participation with your group and that is essential in MKT802. He doesn't post anything online so it's crucial to attend class to pick up all of the hand outs he provides. He can be somewhat confusing at times in class with expectations but if you ask for clarification he provides straight answers. Overall a good prof.

Rob has very dry humour and expects you to show up to class (He marks you on whether you showed up). It's a boring class and many people tend not to show up, go to the 1HR lecture since your marks will rely on it. He's not very approachable nor does he encourage students to ask questions in class. Overall, he's not as bad as some made him out to be

He made my final year at Ryerson a pleasure! I have a great deal of respect for him. He has a no nonsence approach to teaching and really did a great job preparing us for the real world. He may seem unapproachable and intimidating but he's actually the nicest guy. His effort should not go unnoticed and he truly wants his students to succeed.

The nicest I can say about this guy is he is a condescending professor who is grumpy 247 and has a stick up his rear, easy tests that are straight test bank but over all just a pain to work with, he will test your patience to no end. That is all

This is probably one of the worst professors I've ever had the displeasure of learning from. He's the only one who teaches 2 classes in 4th year and you have no choice but to stick it out with him. Attendance counts, tests are easy and have nothing to do with what he teaches, use the textbooks and pray for the patience to deal with him.

Attendance is big with him, nothing is posted on Blackboard, and 1 hour breakouts are "Read your answer to this weeks question in front of the class". Sometimes he knows what he's talking about, other times he goes on about dated or flat out wrong ways to approach marketing and is too stubborn and old school to accept any other answer. AVOID!

Fairly easy class. He's only rude and sarcastic if you ask stupid questions and don't do what is clearly asked.

Awful professor. Rude, inconsistent, attendance taken in 8 am lectures... He's also one of the highest paid professors in the department and still refuses to use the internet. Really funny that his lectures include talking about new technologies when he's clearly stuck in the 20th century. Become BFFs with your textbook.

Very old-school the way he teaches. Overheads are quite common (Yes....Overheads). Doesn't touch technology which makes it ironic when he talks about social media and how business is shifting online. Very blunt and refers any questions to the course outline. Not very approachable. Mid-Terms are pure test bank.

The most interesting and exciting course in the MKT program, but the professor doesn't do it justice. He might once have been good but he's tired of the job and sick of students. Avoids contact, gives confusing/unhelpful/aggressive feedback, but surprisingly marks fair. Will try your patience but you'll get a lot out of the course overall.

Aside from being rude, he did not give our class an outline for the final project, he basically said to do whatever, and we had no idea what we were doing. ALSO he put other chapters on the test which werent supposed to be on it. OH and on the course outline said the project was due one date and made it due the week before. AVOID IF POSSIBLE!

He will seem arrogant and full of himself, but he's a smart guy. Some of his examples are dated, he doesn't use any hint of technology (overheads and no blackboard), and is a bit hypocritical with punctuality. Just show up, follow HIS outlines for test prep/projects, read the text and keep your mouth shut. You'll do fine. P.S. 1-on-1 he's a lamb!
