Comment:
Did poorly on midterm because I didn't study, so studying is key! Lots of information given in this class, and Robbie does well at explaining. She's always willing to answer questions, but her tests and marking expectations could do with more clarification.

She's very caring and nice. As an Arts student, I was afraid of this course in the beginning, but Robbie made EASC so interesting and engaging! Loved the rock labs. Frank (TA) was quite helpful. The midterm and final (exams are mostly based on lecture, so attend them) are not hard at all if you spend enough time and effort.

don't take this course!! she makes a huge deal about having to attend lecture but nothing I copied in class I didn't find the textbook. Exam questions are ridiculous in that just reading the textbook or her notes isn't enough, extensive knowledge + interest is required if you want to pass! Class average was 40% for first exam & 60 for second

Can easily tell that she's into the material, will answer ANY geology questions you have, even if it's unrelated to the course. Really chill, and even threw in some jokes in the final. Made me wanna continue in geology.

Don't be fooled because it looks like an easy credit. You need to attend every lecture and write down every word she says. There are questions on the exam that are, in my opinion, extremely unfair. (ex: "what is Robbie's favorite dinosaur" worth 550 marks of the exam... yes that's 10%)

She's very nice, and very interested in teaching students the course content. She expects a lot of the students though, and in order to do well you must study a lot. Personally, I had to read every chapter she assigned, as she does not go over everything in her lectures. Work hard and you'll get a good mark easily

She had interesting lectures which I really enjoyed. When it came to the test, I studied so hard, but didn't do as well as I had hoped. It was all multiple choice, which was annoying! The class was shared with another prof, whose test was way better (A!). All in all, good class and material, but the multiple choice is not a good idea!

No critical comment on Robbie - she likes to act goofy, but is precise and professional when it comes down to facts. A tip to succeed in this class with the awful Levin book we use scattered bits of - just highlight the awful thing. A lot of lecture notes in 2nd half are straight from the book, but scattered.

Overall the class was alright, alot of work tho, roughly 20 chapters for final but they're short. MT I found was difficult but the final was easy IMO. Best piece of advise is get Cindy as your TA, she`s awesome and will help you all the way. Really cared for her students and super fun! Overall I would recommend this class but b prepared to work :)

She sucks at teaching in general. She repeats everything in the txtbk and final exam is everything from the beginning. Her exams have questions from the lectures and also they are very detailed. She is a horrible teacher. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER.

You have to give credit where credit it due. She remarked an entire midterm for 100+ students just to help improve the marks. Most lazy profs could care less. She is highly knowledgeable and full of energy. While the exams are pretty tough even with a cheat sheet, they are a fair assessment of your work ethic in this course.

SHE thinks that this class is a GPA booster. Ridiculously hard so called 'quizzes'. Who gives a 'quiz' out of 69 worth 30%?! And did I mention it was 7 pages of written questions to be completed in 50 min! Even though we are allowed a cheatsheet, she does not know how to write tests.

She's a good prof that makes the lecture funny and interesting. She provide great slides with many pictures of dinosaurs for you to see. Her midterms and finals were kind of hard, but you would be allow to bring a cheat sheet.

Her favourite dinosaurs are T.rex and pachyposaurids... that's why she's so cool. Lecture slides are filled with pictures for our enjoyment. Good video choices during lab. Very fair marker.
