His tests are all on what he says in class, so God forbid you get sick. He doesn't care about you or if you learn anything. The answers on the test have to be his words, not what you find in the book so the book is pretty useless. He has to curve the tests because "only he can make an A". The class is just ridiculous!

Dr. Burns is a great teacher. You have to go to EVERY class in order to do well in his class. His classes are easy because he explains everything pretty well. Take lots of notes because that is basically what the tests are. The tests are basically how well you understand the information, which is all in his lecture. I've taken 2 classes with him.

If I had a choice of taking his class over or taking my chances with a pogo stick in a mine field, I'd choose the minefield. Heck, I'd even do it on one leg. His was one of the toughest classes ever.

Comment:
You're pretty much on your own in PY271. The book is mostly useless. If you do use it, it can actually contradict the lectures and what is expected on the tests. The tests compose your final grade aside from a homework grade. Discussing material outside of class with Burns is frustrating!
