Hilarious lectures! He's honestly perfect for a first-year student. He makes everybody talk though, and that's no exaggeration. So do your assigned reading for both the weekly quizzes and participation marks! Gives some great feedback too. If you have him, consider yourself lucky.

Comment:

By far one of my favourite professors. He is an inspiring lecturer who keeps you engaged by cracking jokes. He intelligence is evident every time he argues a topic (which is often in this class). His quizzes were more difficult than expected and he wants you to pay attention to the smallest details of the books you will read.

A little brusque, but in a funny kind of way. He's a very clear communicator, which considering the class, isn't that surprising. The classes themselves are interesting and informative. This is one of the few classes where I feel I actually learned something.

He really enjoys the topics he teaches. There was many pointless class discussions where participation is sometimes forced. He doesn't give many assignments, but the instructions and criteria tend to be unclear. Decent guy, slightly intimidating

I think he is a great professor. I think if you are going into education taking his class will really open your mind to what you are getting yourself into. He challenges your beliefs and makes them stronger. I wish I could take more of his classes because I felt intellectually challenged in a motivational way. 10/10 would recommend.

He's really interested in the topics he teaches, although the discussions in class were kind of pointless for the papers we had to write. Although he gave you plenty of time to write each paper and he accepted late papers!!!!

Takes some time to get used to, but I really miss his class. "HELLO COACH!" Chooses people to read from texts and give their own opinions. Pay attention whenever he repeats info, It will help for essays. Weekly quizzes to influence reading. Had us laughing because of the debates between himstudents. Fun class, especially with the right classmates.

One of my favourite profs! Always kept the class alive, he does like to pick on people but he does so to keep everyone interactive and learning. I thought his style was fantastic, he was approachable and very understanding. If anything, assignments were not always clear or definitive but he really wants to make you think and grow as a student.

Very hard to follow homework assignments and when they are due. He doesn't use nexus or follow the syllabus. Funny and helpful guy. But his assignments are repetitive and tedious. Especially in noun style. He's not clear with instructions either he needs to use instruction handouts for every assignment! He just doesn't give detailed explanations.

One of my favourite prof's. I took an academic writing class with him and he was very entertaining, very helpful and we did a lot of exercises to better our writing skills. He is a good marker, but make sure you don't skip this class. I made that mistake and lost a lot of marks in attendance and participation. otherwise great prof!

Great prof! Very interesting and interested in helping students to do well. Knows how to teach and open the communication for students to be able to trust each other when they need to edit each others' papers. Great sense of humor and makes it okay to be wrong about something by saying that it is the most valuable way to learn.
