I really enjoyed this class and learned a lot. The lectures would sometimes get a little dull but you could tell Dr. Clark really cared about the students.

Prof. Clark really cares about those he teaches. He can get a little boring, and I found it hard to stay awake sometimes, however, I think that he was doing the best he can with concepts that are hard to understand if you're just beggining. He is fair to his students and his grade scale is very easy.

Clark teaches Physics from overhead transparencies, which was really not helpful to me. He is not good at explaining new material. He usually spends class showing you how to derive formulas and doesn't do a good job of showing example problems. The exams took me over 4 hours each. I would highly recommend taking Physics from another teacher.

He is a jolly old gentleman, but his lectures were very long and semi-boring. The class is pretty easy as long as you can understand things from the reading.

He is a great guy, he's got his own sense of humor, and that can make class enjoyable. I like him as a teacher, he uses lots of examples. He explains things thoroughly, perhaps too thoroughly. I think if you are very familiar with Physics his class may be too slow. If you're new to Physics it may be too vague. In between & he's probably perfect!

I fall asleep and cannot understand the concepts that he teaches. I do ok on the tests but they take at least 4 hours for me. He is harder to understand than the book! He doesn't use very many interesting examples or object lessons, like I had hoped physics would have been. I am majoring in Mech Engineering and he realy makes it boring!VeryPOOR

This class wasn't the most interesting class, but it is very straightforward and easy. The homework questions are very helpful for the tests and not busywork. i felt like everything helped you for the test. Good class. Not as bad as everybody says

Prof. Clark is actually not that bad. He's not the most exciting or enthusiastic professor, but if you make the effort to pay attention in his classes you can learn from him. He knows his stuff and he is good at answering questions from students. Just realize that you can learn from a professor even if they're not very entertaining.

Dr. Clark is a a fun guy, and his lectures are more focused on convincing the class of the physics principles than anything else. However, the homework problems are kind of difficult, and the lectures don't help with that. Your best bet with the homework would be to look at the textbook. Labs are easy, so always do them, you get extra credit!

Going to class is almost useless. All he does is derive formulas. I did well in the class and I went about a third of the time. But doing homework is important, and it's really hard to do that when you don't go to class.

This was a tough class. The grading scale is very nice though, 90-100 A and 80-90 A-. Dr. Clark's lectures were a little boring and were not helpful for the homework. Most of my learning came from the textbook. If you read the text and do the homework you will do fine.

Clark takes simple concepts and complicates them into incomprehensibility. The subject is not particularly hard, but Clark makes it seem that way. Grades are based almost entirely on 4 tests. The grading scale is ridiculously low (A is 80-90, B is 60-80, etc). The grading scale is the only thing that saves your grade.

Simply put, this was the worst class I've even taken. Class time is only used to derive things, there is no application, and his jokes are horrible. I could have got more out of the class if I would have hired a monkey to take notes for me. And if someone would tie me to a chair, I would eat my own arm off to escape his class. Save yourself...

I kind of feel bad for the old guy. Obviously his senility is in question. No in reality, most people don't like his teaching because he teaches above their miniscule comprehensive abilities. Most of what I learned in the class was from his lectures. He's not exactly the most clear or interesting professor ever, but he knows what he's talking about

It's a pretty easy class, but I stopped going after the first two weeks and just turned the homework in during my lab section. The lab is very useful, but I found that the professor simply repeats the book. Read and you'll get a good grade!

Prof. Clark is a nice guy, but most of the times his lectures were really abstract and he didn't dumb it down enough for the rest of us. I had a hard time staying awake on occasion. As a physics major I liked his class but this is definitely not a class to take for an easy grade or if you hate physics.

I took high school physics and still understood nothing this man was saying. He does not interact with the students at all. homework and test questions are poorly stated. If you are going to take physics 121 and he's the only choice, wait till next semester and hope there's an alternate professor. I've never fallen asleep in a class till his.

I would have to say that this is the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire college career. His lectures are completely useless, and the tests are even worse. His lectures consist of him putting slides up on a projector. I have been in to get help from him several times. Each time, he gets annoyed and talks to me like I am stupid.
