Very boring proffesor, but a very good proffesor. Grades very fairly, and allows cheat sheets. Most topics after the mid point of the term require you to be there to understand. Does a lot of examples. If you know people who took him, get there exams, all his exams have followed the same outline from what I've seen.

Prof. Fakler is a very good teacher. He known the subject very well, and is very fair in his grading. He also allows a cheat sheet on his exams to write equations and examples on. The only problem is that he is boring to listen to. He does not make the class very interesting. If you need a comedian to learn, then he is not your guy. Otherwise, good

BORING! if you have his old tests they help but not much. You fall asleep in the first 5 min of class. Grade based only on tests and final. Made basic mistakes and moves so slow you think hes going backward. Dont recommend him at all.Take anyone else.

Professor Fakler is not overly entertaining, however, what can you do when you talk about Matrices Algebra? He is very straight-forward and to the point. He does not try to trick you on exams and provides ample time and warning for what to study. Only difficult part about the course would be attending or staying awake.

Fakler is definitely someone who knows his stuff. If you have had a previous pre-calc class, you ways of solving problems might be better than his techniques, but that's alright. If you can find someone who took him before, you should get all of their tests because he doesn't really change his tests that much, just the numbers.

this is the slowest man you will ever meet, but fak da mac make ****in look easy. even if you scribble down a bunch of crap you still usually get 70% of the points. doesnt collect hw, and easily gives into the students demands. you could prolly just tell him you dont want to take any tests and he'll say "okay". about a 9% curve at the end.

He has no idea what he is doing.Most of the time the students had to correct with his basic arithmetic. His lectures are incredibly boring. Its really hard to sit through them and it was only a 50 min. class. If you get the old exams, u will get an A. He is just a nice old man but a bad teacher.

Very nice guy, but very boring class. Because it was boring it was hard to pay attention, so it's been a very hard class for me. Some times his examples really confused me. If I'd bothered with homework, and stayed home to sleep so much (it was an early class), I'd probably have an A. So if you wanna pass, take a late class and to the homework.

An intelligent, great professor. Doesn't collect homework, very lenient grader on tests, willing to compromise with students (agreed to drop last test in our class). Answers questions very well, willing to help at office hours, describes things in ways to make it easier for students. Tests were short, but he put easy problems on them. Recommended.
