If you enjoy listening to a guy stand in front of a projector and read french straight out of the book for an hour and a half this class is for you. DO NOT take his class if you didn't take french in high school. I just bombed his final because he never said what might be on the exam.

Dont take him if you didnt take French in hs and want a good grade. Seriously the quizzes in french one are all fill in the blank and he does his lectures almost entirely in french. Just took the final and tanked it even though I studied my ass off because he didn't inform the class of the correct things to study and need 10 out of class activities

Do yourself a favor and take him! Not going to lie his lectures can be a little confusing and boring but still a great guy! He doesn't make us take test unlike other philosophy professors on our campus. We have 4 papers throughout the semester & they aren't that difficult. We take 5 question quizzes every week but besides that everything's good!

Fischer taught completely out of the book. The quizzes were based from the book and were pratically fill in the blank with a dicte section. This sounds like it should not very hard but the class goes way to quick. A chapter is covered in about a weeks time and then quiz time. The class went way to quick.

He's a busy guy and it shows in his teaching. I thought the class was easy as long as you keep up with your studies...he teaches from the book and quizzes/tests are easy...I thought all in all it was a good class.
