Best professor hands down. I have never learned more from someone in my life, and Im blessed to have her. She is one of the tougher faculty members in the music department, but she couldnt be more helpful.

My advice for Marjorie's new students is that you need to refuse to be afraid of her. She seems intimidating in studio when she's trying to show you something and makes you re-sing parts of the piece over and over, but she is trying to help and does not mean to make you frustrated or scared at all. She's very smart and helpful. Help her do her job.

She is very particular about details and has this incredible ability to pick out the tiniest mistakes. She is a very good teacher. I wouldn't call her rude, but sometimes she doesn't realize when she is intimidating. She is very friendly once you get to know her.

Great teacher, once you warm up to each other. Really intelligent, and I suppose some people could be confused by her teaching style, but she's a wonderful teacher, really.
